Course Fee: £95.00 Fully Inclusive

An excellent program for a Dive Holiday but equally rewarding in UK waters too where you need to look for what’s there! – where you’ll learn to understand the beauty and complexity of the aquatic ecosystem and incredible diversity of wildlife like Corals & Crabs, Seahorses & Sharks!

The TWO DIVES on this program help create awareness and responsible diver behaviour towards the underwater world.

Two dives build on the basic principles of underwater photography, looking at composition & camera handling as well as techniques for image centering and tracking. This really is an excellent one for Red Sea Wildlife!

Now video cameras and dedicated underwater housings have become considerably less expensive this course has become ever more popular. Capture the real or should that be reel feel! of action underwater.

Often video appears to give better results in poor conditions than still photography, and with cameras becoming palm size the possibilities are endless.

Dry Suit Course Fee: £125.00 Fully Inclusive

We have a saying in diving 'any fool can be cold'. Being cold whilst diving isn’t fun for anybody – but diving in cold water in a Drysuit enables you to stay warm and enjoy the fun of diving all year round.

A required pool orientation dive gets you used to the equipment care and use, as well as acquainting you with the difference in buoyancy skills before you venture out into open water.

TWO open water Drysuit dives then give you the opportunity to put it all to the test and enjoy diving in colder and very often clearer waters.

This course requires that you complete THREE DIVES over at least two nights.

You’ll learn the techniques for using lights on the surface and underwater, as well as night navigation practice and lights out drills.

A great one to do as part of a trip to the Red Sea because diving at night gives you the opportunity to identify nocturnal aquatic wildlife that hunt in the dark such as Morays & Lion Fish, Lobsters, Cuttlefish and Octopus.

UK Night diving is a good opportunity for wildlife encounters and also a great way to see familiar dive sites from a whole new perspective.

Banish your nocturnal fears and come see for yourself. Who’s afraid of the dark ? – Not you!

The Peak Performance Buoyancy course has only TWO DIVES but what a two dives they are! This course usually has more impact on students diving skills than any other PADI Specialty course.

The course starts by focusing on your correct weighting, trim, streamlining, and then finning techniques all to fine tune buoyancy. Yes we will get rid of that crawl kick you were taught on your open water course! The result is more relaxed diving, you use less energy, your air supply lasts longer and you get more enjoyable and longer dives.

Whilst this course is of obvious benefit to newly qualified divers and people who haven’t dived for some time: these skills are also imperative for anyone considering Photo, Videography Cavern, Drift, Multilevel or Search & Recovery specialties.

Course Fee: £Call

TEKKIE divers always look amazing, loads of cylinders, masses of equipment, but in reality they are diving with the minimum of kit their plan will allow.

This is where the SERIOUS FUN really begins always treating the dives with respect….planning everything up front then going deeper and/or longer !

This extensive and challenging training program involves commitment and investment in time and equipment, learning to complete Gas Switch Extended range dives using technical dive equipment & techniques to go beyond the limits of normal recreational divers.

You’ll need to have already qualified as a PADI Nitrox and Deep Specialist, and have at least 50 logged dives with specific experience in Nitrox & Deep Dives beyond 30m. This is Tec Level 1.

The progression beyond Tec level 1 involves going deeper (that 50m point is calling…) and using Accelerated Decompression with up to 100% Oxygen on mandatory staged deco stops in addition to the gas switch extended range dives you mastered previously.

Understanding the hazards and managing the risk of technical deep diving is a challenge for a small niche of divers who take the sport seriously and are prepared for the investment in time, effort and money necessary to safely go beyond the limits of normal recreational divers. This is serious stuff with associated risks, not for badge collectors - this is the 1 in a 100 club!

Wreck Course Fee: £205.00 Fully Inclusive

The excitement of diving on a submerged shipwreck is a huge temptation for divers in British waters where the coastline is littered with new and old, large and small wrecks from as little as 5m up to 40m and beyond. The excitement of exploring an historic wreck by torchlight cannot be missed!

The course covers the avoidance of hazards, detailed wreck mapping, use of reels & lines for overhead environments and safe wreck penetration.

The dives can be made at Stoney Cove or can also be planned for the DunRaven & Thistlegorm the most famous of Red Sea wrecks.

At Stoney Cove we use the Staingarth, the helicopter and the Nautilus in the training of this course which takes place over two days.

Course Fee: £95.00 ex gas

So you breath Nitrox, you might be a Tec Diver but do you really understand exactly what goes into that bottle that keeps you alive, and how they make it?

This course explains exactly what to do to blend your own Nitrox or Heliox mixed gas.

You will blend samples of gas which must be within 1% of the required blend. You will be shown just what O2 clean means and how to do it yourself.
